Here’s to a different sort of adventure

This idea of starting a blog all began back when I was living in Wisconsin (circa 2010…it’s been a long time coming). I let my fears get the best of me and decided to forget the idea. THEN, I was stuck in the hospital on bed rest for a month. I thought that would FOR SURE be a good time to start a blog. I’ll have so much time and creativity. That turned out to be a hard no. When you’re stuck in the hospital, inspiration isn’t so much the brain's go-to as much as binging TV to pass the time faster. Then there’s the self-doubt, the excuses, and DANG IT, just DO IT already! It’s time to take some of my own advice for once.

I really have no idea where this will go, or, what exactly I am trying to accomplish with it. However, when you have enough people telling you that they love following your adventure, are inspired, and my story helps them make big moves in their life. You cave and just go ahead and put it out there for whoever might need these stories and or inspiration.

Half the fear of starting a space like this is hanging yourself out to dry. You’re NEVER going to please everyone and not everyone is going to think that my content is their cup of tea. Finally, though, I’m willing to take it on. Although, if you aren’t a fan, please just go in peace. That’d be great.

So here we go. This is going to be my stories, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTock all in one place (and the really big appeal is), I own it. You’ll never lose me here. I really liked that aspect of it all.

So here’s to entering the blogging world, and all the enormous blessings it brings!

About the author

Hey, y’all my name is Kassandra and I’m a mama to 4, road-trip/hiking obsessed, herbal medicine enthusiast who specializes in nothing (well, I am a hairstylist so I do specialize in hair lol) but is interested in everything.

Most of all, planning, taking and sharing travel/road trip ideas. Encouraging folks to do the “I wish I could do that” thing. One of my favorite messages to get is “I saw your post and tried it”.

So I keep sharing. When I’m not traveling, I sate my wanderlust by cooking, planning more trips, working on my Airbnb, converting a bus to an RV, designing products (multi-passionate entrepreneur here), and regaling past adventures to share with y’all!
